Tanzania Safari and Zanzibar beach excursion

Today, after breakfast, we drive to Tarangire National Park with picnic lunch, the park is renowned for its large elephant population. Game drives in the park.

Another game drive safari in Tarangire; then later in the day we drive to overnight in Ngorongoro Highlands in Karatu.

[ALTERNATIVELY, we could do morning game drive safari in Tarangire, then spend afternoon at Mto wa Mbu area, where we could do cultural tour- that would include visiting banana/rice plantations as well as walking safari with traditional healers who will explain the medicinal values of the indigenous plants, before arriving at the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Early in the morning we will drive to Ngorongoro conservation area which is 30 minutes drive from Farm of Dreams Lodge, after completing all the formalities at the main gate, we will drive to the crater descent gate. Descend into Ngorongoro Crater for game drives in the Crater, exploring the short-grass plains of the crater floor. This extinct volcano embraces 100sq miles alive with lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, buffalo, and many more games.

After breakfast, we drive to Serengeti for a full game drive safari; central Serengeti offers best wild life view throughout the year and also has high concentration of wildlife. Serengeti National Park offers clients an opportunity to see large predators such as Lions, Leopard, Cheetahs in the wild and plenty of animals that range from big mammals like elephants, buffaloes and hippos, eland, giraffe to rodents like mongooses.

On the way to there is options for masai village tour ($60/vehicle) and Olduvai Gorge Museum tour ($36pp).

Today there will be more game drive safari in central Serengeti exploring this famous part of Serengeti.

On day 7 we will drive to North Serengeti in the morning after breakfast. This is where the wildebeest migration is expected to be during this season. We will drive near migration and explore spectacular places in Northern Serengeti.

Morning game drives as we drive to airstrip in the Serengeti (Kogatende airstrip) for a morning flight to Zanzibar (which may stop at another airstrip in Serengeti, Manyara and Arusha before landing in Zanzibar at around 2pm).

Met on arrival in Zanzibar and transfer to East Coast to Gold Zanzibar (Deluxe Ocean View).
