Experience the wildlife and beautiful savannah landscapes of Mikumi National Park on a 2-day, 1-night fly-in safari from Zanzibar

Your safari begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Zanzibar and transfer to the airport for your flight to the mainland. Depending on the confirmed flight schedule, you will fly toward the Mikumi area and meet your safari guide on arrival. Current safari arrangements use either a flight connection through Dar es Salaam or available direct air services to the Mikumi area, so the exact routing should be confirmed when booking.

After meeting your guide and completing the necessary arrangements, you will begin your first game drive in Mikumi National Park. The afternoon safari takes you through the scenic Mkata Floodplain and surrounding areas, where you can search for elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, impalas, hippos, baboons and many bird species. With luck, you may also encounter lions and other predators. Later in the afternoon, you will leave the park area and proceed to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight accommodation.
