Arrival in Tarangire national parkl
Your adventure begins early in the morning with pickup from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi by our professional safari guide and driver. After a short briefing, we depart for Tarangire National Park, enjoying the changing landscapes as we travel through the countryside toward the park. Upon arrival at the entrance gate, our guide will complete the necessary registration procedures before we enter the park and begin our game drive.
Once inside Tarangire National Park, we begin exploring its diverse ecosystems in search of wildlife. The park is famous for its impressive elephant population, and it is common to see elephants moving through the grasslands, feeding beneath trees or gathering around water sources. Along the game-drive routes, you may also encounter zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, impalas, buffaloes, warthogs, baboons and various species of antelope. With patience and a good safari guide, there are also opportunities to see predators such as lions and other carnivores.
One of the most memorable features of Tarangire is its magnificent baobab trees, which create a distinctive African landscape and provide excellent photography opportunities. Your guide will explain the relationship between wildlife, vegetation and the park's seasonal water sources, helping you understand how animals survive in this ecosystem. The park is also an excellent destination for bird lovers, with many different bird species that can be observed throughout the day.
Around midday, we stop at a designated picnic area where you will enjoy a packed safari lunch surrounded by the natural atmosphere of the park. After lunch, you continue with another game drive through different sections of Tarangire, giving you further opportunities to observe wildlife and photograph the landscapes. Your guide will select suitable routes according to wildlife movements, road conditions and the season.
In the late afternoon, we begin our final game drive while gradually making our way toward the park exit. This provides another opportunity to look for wildlife before leaving Tarangire National Park. After exiting the park, we begin the return journey to Arusha or Moshi, arriving in the evening depending on the starting location and road conditions. Your driver-guide will drop you off at your hotel, marking the end of your one-day Tarangire safari.
